I used to be one of those kids who would read a book cover to cover in a day and as I went through my teens I kinda gave it up. I can't remember what made me buy this book but I'm so glad I did! I never realised the same book could make you both laugh and cry. This really is a great story and I'm now hooked on Kinsella's books. I like the way that they are written how you think.. if that makes sense.. One of my faves for sure.. I'm kinda looking forward to forgetting it so I can read it again!

Good pick me up feel good read, but nothing very original concerning the story line.

Having read some pretty negative remarks about this one, I was expecting to be disappointed. It is certainly (in my opinion) not up to the Shopaholic series, (I didn't laugh half as much!), but it is worth reading. The first few pages worried me a bit ... I felt it wasn't going to be my sort of book. I had no difficulty getting through it, however, ... though at one point I wondered whether the end was going to be a let-down. No, pretty well written, in fact.

I am never disappointed by Sophie Kinsella, and this book was no exception. It had me from the opening paragraph right up to the last word.
