I received this as a present and it's a great coffee table book in the run up to your wedding. Gorgeous pictures and some really helpful tips for the early planning days - there is a lot of information on dress styles, hair and make up, accessories. Also a good section on venue types. Not a book for the budget conscious though! I never find countdown planners very helpful as everyone has to tailor their own but this is a lovely, stylish book with some valuable information.

I bought this book to help with my wedding plans and was incredibly disppointed. It contains nothiing that a chunky wedding magazine doesn't have. Loads of the book is spent on the dress/hair/beauty - but there is more to a wedding than this and whenever I looked in the book for more useful info like timings, what to put in speeches etc. there was little if any actual info. This book is fine for the bridezillas of the world who want to be a princess for the day, but for those planning a real wedding with a groom and guests, not so great.

Really enjoyed this book. A lovely chunky quality coffee table book. There are inspirational pics,tips, ideas and attention to detail which has been extremely hepful to me when organising my wedding. There is so much to think of but this book does go through the lot. To really benefit from this book, the Bible Planner is a must have oh and always write things down because there really so much much you need to think of when you're planning a wedding.

I bought this book and the "Wedding bible planner" after having read the mixed reviews where some were stating that it was not worth the price paid, while others said it was a "must have". Having bought this book, I would say that I agree with both views. I picked up new tips, hints etc. from this book, however some of the other information I already knew from reading wedding magazines and the internet. It is a nice book to have if you have the budget to buy it, however, if you are on a budget (due to the financial costs of a wedding)I would refrain from buying this.

Nevertheless, I would recommend buying the "Wedding bible planner" which is more of "toned down version" of the book with the essential tips. In addition to this, you can use it as a keepsake and store all your ideas, photos, contacts etc.

This book has nothing original to offer. The pictures are so cheesy (the wedding photo nightmare: looking back on the day and wondering what the hell you were thinking) and the rest seems to be a well hidden marketing campaign. I was expecting a whole lot more for the hefty price I paid.
