A good read. I picked up some additional points even though i've attended several training seminars. A word of warning though, don't follow his advice about the toast, if like me you are overweight and could get through a whole loaf by the end of the third chapter!!! Mo

Well, what can I say? This book is so good that we now have two copies!

We initially bought this book as my husband was interested in dabbling in the stockmarket. He began reading it, then let me borrow it so I started reading it too. Then he decided he was going to finish reading it, thus we decided to get another copy.

The book is very easy to read - Robbie explains everything without using financial jargon. He explains the risks, the rewards, common mistakes, basically everything you need to get you going.

Once you've finished the book (and if you decide that the stockmarket is for you) then the book is invaluable as an excellent reference guide.

In conclusion, if you are considering investing in shares - buy this book, you'd be silly not to!

I bought this book on recommendation by a friend who is starting his journey in investing. I then checked the reviews on Amazon and thought this book is for me and it really did not disappoint.

The book starts from the bare basics but somehow has a knack of never having an aura of being condescending. I have been investing in shares on and off for 10 years and i learnt so much from this book that it has actually made me think about my investing strategy and I have taken a step back and starting doing what Robbie has stressed about so much in his book (RESEARCH!) and he shows exactly what to look for and where to find it.

I have never written a review on any site before but after finishing the book I felt it my duty to write one about this one(I am assuming others felt the same based on the 90 odd positive reviews).

I also did email Robbie as I had a question and true to his word he did reply. Great book, great advice - buy it!

Having read several books on the stock market over the last few I wondered if there was a book that will help me better understand how it works from an investors perspective. A lot of authors manage to produce very dull and uninteresting books which seem to have the main purpose of convincing us readers how complicated everything is and how clever they are.

The Naked Trader was the book that I'd been looking for. It's written in a fun and very readable style and is very good at telling you what you want to know and no more. It also contains lots Robbies methods and approaches to trading, some of which will be useful to anyone who buys shares. It's allowed me to better understand how things work and hopefully made a few more intelligent decisions.

My portfolio is 68% in profit - need i say more?

I've read some negative results on amazon, and i'm starting to think that these are from the people who must have just seen their shares sink, and decided "it's that books fault" - no it's not, it's yours. Also, in regards to the website that Robbie continuously mentions - I don't see the big deal, if anyones been on it, you will understand that its probably one of the most comprehensive stock info sites on the net.

The book does what it says on the tin. - It gives you the information you need to be the "average home trader" - not a market, stock or investment analyst - if that's what your looking for - jog on.

I constantly find myself referring back to this book for tips which slip my mind. Very fun and easy read, with lots of important and useful tips, "do's" and "don't do's".

Great book- but more importantly a great diverse approach which is a beneficial ADDITION to any traders library. (concentration on ADDITION, don't just buy this 1 book and expect to make millions, because it won't happen, unless you have a personal jet and are willing to import kilo's of cocaine + trade shares)
