Fantastic coverage for anyone who is thinking about building a kitcar. Mark Evans outlines problems you may encounter, budgeting, donor car and salvage, engine to upholstery.. I only wish he had built an AK cobra and not a Pilgrim Sumo as I am saving up for the AK!!!!

Well, of course you've got to be a bit of a petrol-head to enjoy a DVD like this, but Mark Evans takes you through the build with plenty of helpful tips whether you're thinking of building a car like this or you're just interested in cars. He also injects a bit of humour which makes what could be a pretty dry presentation into one I very much enjoyed.

In this, the first in the "is born" series, Mark Evans sets the mood which is to continue throughhout the following titles in the series. His approach is not only very instructional, it is also very entertaining indeed. Armed with this DVD, it should be possible for anyone with some engineering or mechanical experience to actually take on the task of building a super sports car for a mere fraction of the cost of buying something similar. Mark has a very friendly, easygoing and at times hilarious approach to the job in hand. If anyone has ever harboured a desire to tackle such a project, this DVD is certain to take this desire a great step forward.
